Heaven in the Woods

Amanullah Khan is passionate about Poetry. His previous book Barefoot in the Rain was a collection of villanelles. In Heaven in the Woods he explores multiple styles of poetry as he felt constrained by the villanelle format. He created a new means of expanding the expression of the villanelle's composition. Thus a new style of poetry the Ballanelle was born. It allows for the extension of thought and stretched imagination yet keeps the reader focused as in a villanelle. In Heaven in the Woods he writes about themes such as family nature and life.
