The obtained result of the book will be useful to the optimal management of this important protected area in the Mediterranean coast of Egypt.The lake is shallow and had a mean depth of about 1m.The lake receives drainage water from nine drains namely; Burullus khashaa tera Drain 7 Drain 8 Drain 9 and Drain11 west burullus drain and zaghlol drain in addition to Brinbal Canal which opens into the western region of the lake and receives its water from Rosetta Branch of the Nile.
