Dyslexia-Smart: tailored for dyslexic readers but can be read by anyone. This is a first-hand memoir of a soldiers life and experiences during World War 1. It was written seventy years after the events described but the writers memory was undimmed by time. Clearly what he witnessed and things he had to do made such an impression on him that he never forgot it. This young man was 18 when he went to war but his story will appeal to adults as well as teenage readers. He was one of the lucky survivors but this very personal story brings to mind all his comrades who never came home after the war.
