HempMade

The title of the master's thesis 'HempMade' is composed of the two English words hemp and 'handmade' which means 'made from hemp.' This thesis provides an overview of the many uses of the hemp plant. The reference book 'HempMade' aims to inform and educate readers about one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world and to highlight its multifaceted properties through visual impressions. In her work author Therese Taplick focuses in particular on hemp as a natural raw material and its historical uses. The aim is to create a new awareness of this extraordinary plant as hardly any other plant has such ecological and valuable potential as hemp.
