Three year old Henry is afraid of the noises in his house at night. Author Mary T. Wilkinson uses lyric poetry and onomatopoeia the sounds of noises to take away Henry's fears. He finds out that the noises he hears in the night are the same noises he hears in the daylight. By the end of the book Henry knows that there is nothing to be afraid of and he can go to sleep.
