Hepatitis in Gilgit Pakistan

Hepatitis (B and C) is a worldwide problem rapidly spreading in developing countries. Over 2 billion people across the globe have been exposed to Hepatitis B virus and 350 million are its chronic carriers. According to an estimate it causes death of over 1 million people annually. Book is about prevalence of hepatitis B and C in Gilgit city of Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan. Research also include genomic characterization of viruses collected during the study.
