Her Verse

About the Book: Her Verse is a collection of 30 short poems that gives the reader a fresh perspective on life. The poems are an amalgamation of nature and life and how both of these elements are intertwined with each other. Nature is the muse of the poet of this book. The book is divided into two sections- winter and spring containing 15 poems each. Both of these sections have their own settings moods and themes. The poet has left the interpretation of these elements over the reader. Simple and straight forward poems that make you feel good make you think about life society and nature is what this book is all about. About the Author: I am a law student sailing in this boat called life through poetry. Since I was a child I found it difficult to talk to people so I started writing poetry to express myself. I write poetry to feel good and so that people who read it feel good. for me poetry is the most beautiful language that has happened to humankind. I grew up reading novels but while pursuing my masters in English literature I found some amazing poets like Shakespeare Robert Frost Walt Whitman Emily Dickinson Percy Bysshe Shelley etc. I have always found a certain bias towards the poems from Romantic Period. My poetries have a whif of Romanticism in them. I hope my poetry acts as a safe space for anyone who reads it.
