Callie's perfect wedding is cancelled when her fiancé suddenly leaves for California with another woman. Herbal Beginnings is the first work of fiction by author and professional herb grower Carolee Snyder. She began her herb farm in 1978 in southern Indiana. In 1992 she moved 80000 plants to relocate in north central Indiana where she now resides with her husband David. In addition to raising a family and running an herb business she hosted a gardening radio show for eight years.
