Heritage Education and Cultural Tourism

The purpose of this work is to discuss the importance of the historical and cultural heritage together with cultural tourism with regard to issues of preservation enhancement and maintenance of the heritage within the village of São Raimundo_MA from the memories and stories that circumscribe the formation of history of the village. Also seeking to understand and identify which objects places practices and singularities shape the village''s cultural identity. This work also makes a journey within the practice of public policies of preservation and safeguarding of the heritage and the formation of its own understanding and meaning.
