HEROES AND MARTYRS

Kristian is a classic American capitalist who was forced by his parents to spend his life in Switzerland. In his early twenties he decides to go to work in Nicaragua on a coffee plantation. There he meets Sandinistas an equivalent of the Communists he dislikes so much. During his stay Kristian embarks on a journey with a sick pregnant woman her US-hating revolutionary husband and a friend who seems too good to be true. What was supposed to be an over-night trip turns into an odyssey that leads them across Central America and changes Kristian's life forever.
