Heroes' Hearts

<p>The only sweetheart souvenir (a trinket of love made from an artifact during wartime) from the battle of Pearl Harbor becomes the focal point for a larger story of love in all its forms and helps a son realize that everyone can be a hero. The original telling of the story of the bracelet known as "Two Hearts Beating as One" or "Heroes' Hearts" is contained within this book as a transcribed interview with Sam Richiusa from 2001 prior to the 60th Anniversary of the attack on Oahu where he was stationed as a Marine. This tale has spawned an effort to rewrite history as well as shine a light on the power of love.</p>
