Hey Freak!

<p>The summer after finishing fifth grade Stephanie Farmer is paralyzed in an accident. When sixth grade starts it's like a whole different world! Stephanie had lots of friends in elementary school but middle school is like a popularity pyramid and she's on the bottom. Bullies start teasing her leaving her mean notes and even pushing her out of her wheelchair! Stephanie soon realizes that she can't let the bullies get the better of her. She makes some new friends that make the bottom of the social ladder seem like not such a bad place after all. Stephanie even writes her own guide to surviving middle school. Her steps to survival include: 1. Be yourself. 2. Find your real friends and stick with them. 3. Don't let the haters bring you down!</p><p></p><p>Stay weird and proud middle schoolers!</p>
