The book describes mechanical and non-mechanical elements (components) used to improve the aerodynamic properties of wing. The author also describes an experimental study of plasma actuator. Experimental tests of the plasma actuator were performed for three high-voltage electrode configurations the first configuration with two mesh electrodes is a new solution invented by the author. The next two configurations were made with one large mesh electrode (is a new solution) and a solid copper electrode in two positions: oblique and straight parallel. The wing model with plasma actuator were subjected to experimental tests in an wind tunnel for several angles of attack at four air flow velocities which allowed to determine the likely impact of these factors on the performance of the plasma actuator The research carried out by the author shows how many factors affect the operation of the plasma actuator. The author described possible factors affecting the operation of new plasma actuator configurations with a large mesh electrode.
