Highland Fate

<p>One minute I'm rummaging through my grandmother's attic and the next I'm standing on a windswept hill in the Highlands-centuries away from home. Talk about a whirlwind trip. But there's no time to process the impossible not when I'm hiding from a group of Highland warriors who think I'm some sort of spy. And then there's Lachlan: tall brooding and infuriatingly magnetic. I came here looking for adventure but this? This is survival and if I want to fit in (or you know not get thrown in a dungeon) I'll need to learn the ways of the clan. Fighting alongside them training in a world far more dangerous than I ever imagined and-unfortunately-falling for the one man I can't figure out. As tensions rise the threat of an English invasion looms and I'm caught between the life I knew and this one that's pulling me in deeper every day. Can I find my place in a world where history is still being written or will the fate of the Highlands claim me before I have a chance to decide?</p>
