This takes him to one of the most beautiful yet rugged regions of Europe; the Scottish Highlands. His task is to convert the ambition of a wealthy entrepreneur into the reality of creating a unique self supporting community in this otherwise barren land.</p> <p>Whilst this fictional scenario set in an actual Scottish glen introduces new social and political ideas the prime theme is punctuated by diverse dramas created by climatic conditions; much skulduggery; and international smuggling. Additional colour to the narrative is provided by well informed word excursions by land sea and air through and over this fascinating region.
