Hildegard

<p>Her young life in East Germany was trouble-free until her father's freak accident when she was 10 years old at the same time as Naziism was taking a hold of the country. Relatively unaffected by intense propaganda and eventual war little did she dream that as war drew to an end she her family and neighbours she'd known all her life would become sacrificial lambs and driven out of the village they called home.</p>
