His Grace of Osmonde

The story follows the adventures of the Duke of Osmonde a wealthy and powerful nobleman who becomes embroiled in a complicated love triangle. The novel is set in England during the late 17th century and centers on the Dukes relationship with two women: Lady Margaret his childhood friend and true love and Lady Anne a beautiful and ambitious woman who becomes his wife. As the story unfolds the Duke is torn between his love for Lady Margaret and his duty to his wife and family. Lady Anne meanwhile is determined to secure her position as the Dukes wife and protect her own interests even if it means going to great lengths to manipulate and control those around her.
