His Name is Max

Max is now evil and facing the most malevolent acts as a Dark Angel... How can Grace love him now that he has forfeited his soul even if it was for her? Max felt the crackling in his chest as he inhaled the suffocating air of Devour. There was a stagnant scent of mildew and rotting skin. Every time he took a breath he could taste the bitterness of the yellowed wa-ter that flowed from the stones making up his chasm-like prison. His skin itched and peeled due to Devour's insufferable heat. All of the pain that he was prepared to endure exceeded his expectations. The old world is ending. The humans have learned how to summon the evil spirits that are slaves to the Dark Angels and are discovering the secrets of the supernatural world.
