Commencing surveying in the early '60s Lawson made notes of various tales he was told. Historical tales that he would later confirm such as shapes for construction of new sailing vessels King's Masts and his purchase of compasses and chains used for surveying this land. He then adds in hysterical tales of his associates working with him along with lawyers involved in his work. Lawson obtained deeds from Russia Alaska and the moon among deeds and plans from many other countries after a trip to Europe piqued his interest in foreign deeds.
