History of Kazakhstan in the legislative sources of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries

The book provides an analysis of the Russian Empire''s legislative sources that were adopted directly to govern the annexed territories of Kazakhstan. The work uses archival materials as well as documents published in the Full Collection of Laws of the Russian Empire and the Code of Laws of the Russian Empire. On the basis of analysis of numerous legislative acts of the Russian Empire the author reveals the essence of the official policy pursued by the tsarist autocracy on the territory of Kazakhstan.
