About The Book

The Book Relates The History Of The Eastern Province Of The Sisters Of St. Francis Of Perpetual Adoration. The Sisters Of This Religious Congregation First Came To Lafayette Indiana From Their Founding Location In Olpe Westphalia Germany In 1875. An Earlier Volume Published In 1940 Chronicled Their History From 1875 To 1940. The Congregation Grew In Membership And In 1940 Was Divided Into Two Provinces One Based In Lafayette Indiana (And Later In Mishawaka Indiana) And The Other In Colorado Springs Colorado.
