History of the Specialty of Allergy and Immunology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine

The purpose of this historical narrative is to provide a description of the past- and present-day structure of allergy and immunology faculty fellows researchers and staff who have contributed their skills to provide vigor and to advance the academic research teaching and clinical excellence of the specialty. The preeminent reputation of the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine Allergy and Immunology is a combined effort of all individuals who have previously or continue to work there. The Division of Allergy and Immunology Department of Internal Medicine faculty and researchers have trained hundreds of physicians graduates post-graduates and exchange visitors. They have also published thousands of scientific articles including abstracts review and scientific articles book chapters and books as listed at https: //health.usf.edu/medicine/internalmedicine/allergy.
