Home is a Feeling is a calming reassuring softly illustrated book for Alzheimer''s patients persons with dementia and persons whose current place of residence lacks that feeling of being comfortably home. The all-too-familiar words expressing this uncomfortable feeling and frustration often come out as I want to go home. Why? Because Alzheimer''s dementia or even feeling unsettled in a new (or old) home rob a person of home. Home is where a person is not lost in time or space or a situation that feels out of control. Besides a calming reassurance it provides the opportunity for meaningful shared conversation between an individual and their family friends or caretakers.
