Honig & Son

<p><span>Separated by 28 years and a continent a writer and his son engage in an ambitious & spirited bi-coastal poetic dialog that seeks nothing short of exploring the hereditary nature of poetry itself. There are casualties along the way as the son determined to undermine the endeavor challenges his father to justify his own poetic production. The father reflects on his life in poetry and the son bristles positing that the road to hell is paved with poets. Ultimately however he comes to the realization that at 55 there is no escape - it isn't possible to separate the father the son the poet and the poem. For better or worse he has followed in the footsteps of his father and become a man of the word.</span></p><p></p>
