After college she finally got a little place of her own and preceeded to turn it into a breeding and training ranch on a shoestring against all advice and predictions. Then she discovered endurance competition races and that became her passion. So on home-bred and some rescue mounts she excelled at long distance rides distances of up to 100 miles in a day.
