Hotamah! (Crusher in Arabic) reflects today's headlines: Iran...the potential for nuclear war...Sharia Law...the Muslim Brotherhood...the Arab Spring...and the Jihad against Western Civilization. All are blended together in this epic novel whose title is taken from the Quranic Surah 104 that prophesizes an apocalypse of nuclear proportion. The novel spans the years 1982 to 2045 from the minefields of 1982 Dezful Iran to the proximity of Martian deep space in 2045. Hotamah! describes how several Iranian Israeli and American children who eventually cross paths in maturity are influenced by religious fanaticism and its eventual eternal intolerable wars. The story is a work of fiction based on some historical facts. It does not attack religious figures but addresses the behavior of human beings ensnared in religious doctrine.
