All things considered Natheka can't complain. Amity might be aloof but she's inquisitive brave and carries the pelt of the Tree Thief. With a devil dog brought to heel Amity shows every sign of being the mighty warrior Natheka desires in a mate. Until he finds out she hates killing. His planet is known as Certain Death. Kill or be killed is the key to survival and if he wants his heart mate to survive he may have to take on double duty. But the promise of a heart mate at his side means he's willing to do anything even face off with the Ikthekal's deadliest enemy if that's what it takes.</p><p>Amity knows she can make a life for herself on the mysterious yet phenomenally beautiful Predator Planet. But this mythical legend of the heart mate has her questioning everything. Because she's a scientist first and while there are lots of evolutionary reproductive adaptations she's never heard of one like this. Yet there's something about the soft-spoken creative runner who keeps saving her life. Natheka is handsome strong intelligent and damn if he doesn't smell intoxicating. He could definitely be a special friend. But those heated glances and practiced hands? He could be so much more. Amity just has to surrender to her feelings.
