HOUSING POLICIES IN ANGOLA

Angola is a country of the African continent located in Sub-Saharan Africa borders to the north with the Republics of Congo to the east with the Republic of Zambia to the south with the Republic of Namibia to the west with the Atlantic Ocean. It is a country very rich in natural resources its challenge to transform and better distribute this wealth to its 30 million inhabitants. This book dissertations on the subject of Housing Policies in Angola with the intention of dealing specifically with the perception of satisfaction of the people who benefit from housing in the so-called new centralities built in the capital of Angola the province of Luanda. The work is divided into three chapters: (i)Angola: from the African empire to independence with the intention of contextualizing the reader about the history of this country; (ii) Urban development of Luanda where we analyze the processes of urban growth of the city of Luanda since the Portuguese colonial presence until the post-war; and finally (iii) The New Urban Centralities of Luanda we discuss the understanding of the centrality we present the gaze of the residents on the various aspects that involve living and living in the centralities of Luanda.
