What could a young soldier from the Pennsylvania mountains have in common with a pretty girl from St. Louis? True love of course! Walter was a handsome man serving his country during WWII. His military orders sent him to basic training in a huge city far from home. One hot summer day Walter decided a U.S.O dance might ease the tension of the daily routine on base. He hoped to dance with some lovely young ladies from St. Louis. He might enjoy good conversations and a few laughs. When the soldiers lined up and looked at the pretty girls Walter got much more than he bargained for. He gazed across the auditorium and saw the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Walter had found the girl of his dreams!
