How to encourage agriculture in Tunisia?

The contribution of this book is to study theoretically and empirically the determinants of agricultural investment since it has never been treated before by taking the case of Tunisia. Mainly the lack of empirical studies on the subject and the importance of the agricultural sector for Tunisia motivated our choice. To attempt this objective annual data for the period 1970-2015 were examined using stylized facts cointegration analysis and the error-correction vector model. In the determinants whose importance we are going to test our interest concerns both supply and demand factors. The results highlight the importance of pursuing innovative strategies and refining new and effective economic policies to strengthen agricultural investment and improve its linkages with these determinants.
