About The Book

While contemplating about time, God has vested two unique features with it. First - Limited availability of time, which means impossibility to increase it, even for a minute. That is why we have to do every task in the available period only, else, we will miss that train. Second - Once spent, it can't be regained or relived. Keeping in view these qualities of time, one can figure out the value of time, be it the domain of economic growth of oneself or the country, and secondly, the commercial or non-commercial aspect of every economic activity. For example, running a business or a profession; learning and education; social responsibility towards the state, society, or oneself. The first area is of great importance to all those who contribute towards the growth in the GDP of the country. At the same time, the second aspect leads to social happiness for everyone, which perhaps has not been considered so far in the discourse of time management. People who hardly contribute to the first area can tremendously contribute to the second area by utilizing their time in various social activities like maintaining public property and educating illiterate people for their self-satisfaction. To do that, they would require time which can only be extracted from their busy routine by practicing good time management skills. A major portion of this book has been dedicated to the first part, which is the way to prosperity for every entrepreneur, service provider, general public and students at large, and last but not least - the nation itself. For this very reason, the author has tried to deliberate on all the new and unique areas of time management except the few common ways of time-saving like preventing procrastination, avoiding personal calls, designing efficient work systems, etc. which can be found in various books on time management. The majority of these lessons are on flexibility in the system, early settlement of disputes, minimum negotiation, and deriving maximum output. Kumar has also touched the concept of smart outfit, which is rarely covered in any book. That would help in appreciable time-saving for doing more work, and more work is equivalent to more income which finally leads to a better life. Effort is made to elaborate on all the possible techniques, and by adopting those, one can save precious time and earn progressively from the existing setup.
