This book deals with the problem of the poor organizational performance of local authorities in Cameroon in general and Sangmelima in particular. This poor performance is reflected in administrative slowness and cumbersomeness considerable employee absenteeism and irregular salaries all of which jeopardize the achievement of the town hall's objectives including user satisfaction. It is in this context that the author presents the impact or significant contribution of effective human resources management on the organizational performance of this local authority. He proposes managerial recommendations inviting managers or municipal authorities to place particular emphasis on the operational dimension of their human capital: recruitment training evaluation and remuneration of employees to ensure the viability and sustainability of the organization. This study shows that skills development and remuneration which are lacking here contribute to user satisfaction and results.
