About The Book

The need to focus on the capabilities and commitments of the workforce of organisations is due to the fact that they are directly linked to their success. The main purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between sound Human Resource Management (HRM) practices and Organisational Commitment (OC) and other related variables in the banking industry of Ghana. The study sampled of 350 respondents comprising 40 senior management members 60 managers 70 supervisors 150 officers 25 trainees and 5 other staff. A convenience and purposive sampling method was adopted. Questionnaires were used to collect data. Frequency and percentage were used to present the findings of the study.
