HUMAN DEVELOPMENT OF SOLAPUR DISTRICT: A SUB-DISTRICT/BLOCK AND SOCIAL GROUP BASE ANALYSIS

India is in a medium development category of Human Development Index (HDI) is 0.640 and it rank 130th out of total 189 countries in the world in 2018. Moreover India is improving their Human Development Index value but according to Human Development Report – 2018 the India’s Inequality- Adjusted Human Development Index (IHDI) is 0.468 it reveals that the 26.8% of India’s HDI value is lost on account of inequalities the loss of HDI is for most of a greater than its South Asian neighbors such as the Bangladesh and Pakistan.
