Humanities courses in higher education play a significant role in this context. Therefore a close introspection of the trend of humanities courses in higher education is essential; not only for making them attractive but also in shaping them to be socially relevant obviously the courses in humanities are considered non-utility-oriented subjects whereas they involve heavy cost to the exchequer.
