The concept of human resource accounting is not new to the users in the present day accounting scenario. The erudite authorities were of the opinion that human resources associated with the organisations should be valued and presented in the financial statement to provide a complete picture of asset-holding of the entity However these studies were mostly confined to profit-seeking organisations. The annual financial reporting of non-profit organisations generally shows how efficiently funds are being utilised according to the restriction? imposed by various authorities. However it is unable to reflect the objectives for which the organisations were set up or in other words it fails to provide information on the quantum of services rendered by the funding agencies the employees AS well as the organisations itself.
