Human Resource Management in the Hotel Industry in Taiwan

This research investigated contemporary thinking and practice in human resources management in the hotel industry in Taiwan. This industry is of great economic significance for Taiwan being an area of rapid growth specifically targeted by its government. Previous research regar­ding this industry in Taiwan is limited with this study providing a signi­ficant addition to industry knowledge. The study recommends a more strategic approach to human resources management(HRM) highlighting the vital importance of developing sound customer service cultures and practices.
