Human Rights Education in 21st Century

Human Rights are considered to be the universal phenomenon because rights have been taken in oursociety over the years. It is a realization that without Human Rights we cannot live as human beings.They include all fundamental freedoms and are based on mankind’s demand for a life in which theinherent dignity and worth of each human being will receive respect and protection. It is possible only ifwe respect and take care of the needs and rights of one another. Apprehension for human rights has beenappeared as a force for society owing to the readiness of international organization just to intensify theawareness of human rights. The need for human rights education has been emphasized in the UniversalDeclaration of Human Rights and other international documents and treatise. An emerging harmonysignifies that Human Rights Education can add to construct healthy society.
