<p>The political landscape is changing and with the voters abandoning the two-party system in droves the Crossbench have never held such power in their hands before. Following a landslide by-election neither major party – the Democratic Unprogressive Millionaires and Billionaires and the Socialist Libertarian Anti-Autocratic Governance Parties – have the numbers needed to form a majority government.<br><br>It's up to Mike Laycock and his fellow Crossbenchers to negotiate with the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition securing the best deals they can for the good of the nation.<br><br>But some leaders play hardball and when revenge is on the cards even the best deals can fall flat before they hit the table.
