She eventually learns that her defenses provide natural consequences which are beneficial to both the bullies and herself. As with all the books in the Stories for Children and their Adults series this story is written in a delightful sing-song style and can be enjoyed by children and adults alike although it can also be used as a tool to explore deeper issues. Specifically this story deals with the abuse cycle victimization low-self-esteem and setting boundaries.</span></p>
