Hush Little Mind

<p>There are many advantages to living in a verbal world; however much of our suffering can be attributed to this unique human ability. Hush Little Mind is a poem brought to life by metaphorical mixed-media illustrations and inspired by the six core therapeutic processes of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). This book is intended to be used as a teaching tool to support young children build psychological flexibility and resiliency skills; as we know early childhood experiences can significantly affect learning and overall health. </p>
