Hydraulic tiles in interface with art and design in Mato Grosso

This work aimed to investigate the permanence contamination and displacement of tiles/surface design in old buildings restorations and contemporary projects with artistic cultural and historical scope in order to analyze new proposals and languages in relation to design and art in Mato Grosso. The relationships between art and design and vice versa can be considered within various frameworks permeated by the presence of hydraulic tiles in the images of works by visual artists and in surface design compositions (in architecture: old buildings restorations and contemporary projects). The analysis of the selected works and the design/surface in the compositions bring to light the result of these reflections and reveal the issue through compositional design concepts.
