Hydroxyapatite is a crystalline calcium phosphate widely used as a bone substitute material due to its similarity to living tissue and its excellent biocompatibility. In this work ceramic foams (scaffolds) will be made using different polymers as a template this structure facilitates the osseointegration of tissues allowing their growth. For this purpose the synthesis of hydroxyapatite will be carried out by different methods in order to allow the comparison of the product obtained in each of them: phases present morphology and particle size and mechanical properties of the sintered product.
