Hyperglycemia and acute renal failure in the clinic

About The Book

Diagnosis of hyperglycemia is based on glucose level assessment glucose tolerance test and glycated hemoglobin determination. The aim of the work was to study hyperglycemia and glycated hemoglobin in patients at risk of critical conditions. For this purpose we examined three groups of patients: with cerebrovascular diseases with hyperazotemia and with renal insufficiency. We found that HbA1c as an indicator of hyperglycemia forms a significant factor in changes in cerebral artery tone. Hyperazotemia has a significant percentage of prevalence in the general human population. In patients with the initial stage of renal failure an increase in HbA1c levels has been noted. Mandatory HbA1c determination in patients with critical conditions is recommended.Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
