I Am Scorpio

We Scorpios have a negative reputation for being jealous possessive secretive resentful manipulative confrontational and emotionally toxic. While there is some truth to this we are also brave loyal ambitious and powerful. We are complex. We experience heartbreak and process it in the most unique way. Some of it is cathartic some of it is destructive. Ultimately this is a poetry collection about taking on my zodiac identity to express my failures at love not just romantically as you will see multiple examples of but mostly with love of the self. I found comfort in expressing myself authentically but also in ways that were very unlike me. There are many poems that hold truth and many that you can't trust. That is the beauty of being a Scorpio in the zodiac universe. That is the beauty of being a multi-faceted human being.
