He Becamea Father To Us.When I Was 32 I Had A Malignant Melanoma On My Right Legthat Took My Leg And Hip. The Doctor Said I Wasnt Going To Make It.My Pastor Family And Friends Went To The Throne Of God In Prayerfor Me And They Stayed There Until I Was Healed.We Were In A Methodist Church In New Castle Indiana And Mypastor Was Reverend Loran Rapp. To Get To My Class I Had To Passby The Senior Class. They Got Hold Of Me And Began To Pray Andhelp Me By Giving Me Books And Material To Read On Prayer Andpositive Thinking. There Was A Prayer Band That Covered The Wholetown Of New Castle Indiana. All The Churches In Town Prayed Forme. I Learned Early On To Call On The Old Prayer Warriors In Mychurch. They Know How To Reach The Throne Of God.I Had Four Little Children When I Lost My Leg And There Were Timesi Thought I Couldnt Go On But I Put My Trust In The One Who Promisedhe Would Never Leave Me And With His Help I Raised My Childrenand Now Have Eight Grandchildren And Five Great-Grandchildren.Ive Spent My Life Trying To Help Cancer Patients And Amputeesby Prayer And Visits. I Pray That This Book Will Help Others To Copewith Their Illness And To Never Give Up Hope.
