A special note for readers of the English translation. I''m fully aware that my book isn''t British or American and in some cases you may find that I describe situations and views which are different from those with which you''re familiar. It''s a fresh look. But if you bear with it I don''t expect that you will have any real problems. You will probably find that we''re looking at the same thing but from a different perspective and background.You might also like to ponder why the book received such a tremendous response in the Netherlands.
