She made women's weight lifting fashionable - the men hated her for liberating women but the women weren't grateful & repudiated her. She worked for God obeying the call to do what had to be done - grateful or not. She knew her rewards were in Heaven not on earth. How did she gain the tenacity endurance & courage to help women & to do hard works preach in burlesque theaters & night clubs before each show? Strangely as an abused daughter of a Monster Mom she was deprived of love privileges & money made to work for the family with no allowance no thanks. This prepared her for a life of hardship. She expected nothing from people & only sought to obey God to do God's work - whatever it meant. She gained the Gifts & Anointing of a Saint but was not treated as one.
