<p>After relocating with her family from Illinois to the Santa Cruz Mountains of California as a young child Hope experienced decades of unimaginable turmoil & trauma at the hands of her narcissistic mother & silent father trauma that continuously threatened to silence her voice creativity & spirit. Growing up her home was one filled with fear cruelty compulsive lies manipulation & a lack of love. Beatings were not only physical but spiritual mental & emotional threatening to break the will of a child not yet old enough to understand the perils of mental illness. </p><p><br></p><p>I Want A Glass of Water is the vulnerably true story of a child who survived physical mental & emotional abuse at the hands of those meant to protect her. A child who spent years being punished simply for being alive. It's also the story of a woman who rediscovered her voice her sexuality & her truth amidst the ashes of her childhood. The truth that there is life & love after a narcissistic relationship.</p>
