In 2004 during the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Sub-Saharan Africa Ian Roberts becomes associated with a budding megachurch in North Carolina. As part of their building campaign they include funds to build an AIDS hospice inside a Black township of South Africa. One Sunday Ian returns home and sends an email impulsively volunteering to travel to Africa to help start a business to create jobs and fund the operations of the Hospice. Being a world traveler his philosophy of acceptance to people of all religions comes under attack by the clergy of his new church. Pastor Anton Nikosi and Ian Roberts enter a symbiotic relationship teaching all involved in this Post-Apartheid environment the meaning of love and respect. And for Ian Roberts he gains a practical understanding and a deepened faith in God.
